Our kitchen has always been the centre of our concept and was always at the front of design meetings from day one. It had a huge amount of thought put into it, and is not only the home of some of our award winning food, it also houses Guernsey’s very first chef’s table. From here you and your guests can look out into the action of the kitchen and get a truly real (and sometimes hands on) feel for what it’s like to be a part of the team here at La Reunion.
At the centre of the kitchen, and taking pride of place, is our top of the range Athanor island suite. This is a bespoke island cooking suite, built in France and transported over in one huge shipment weighing in at some 650kg!!. Surrounding the suite are a host of culinary gadgets which allow us to deliver some of the best and most forward thinking cooking that the island has ever seen. From Green Eggs (not edible but an indoor BBQ!) to dehydrators, all of our toys enable us to add a touch of flair and elegance to our honest food concept.
